Application:

Hydroxyl-terminated polydimethysiloxane is a series of functional polymers of different viscosity that lead to different content of the terminating hydroxyl. The polymers of low viscosity can be used for filler surface treatment and as anti-structural additive for high-temperature adhesive. It may also be applied for room temperature adhesive formulations. Low viscosity hydroxyl silicone oil can also be used as reactive diluent to adjust the overall viscosity of the formulation.

Hydroxyl silicone oil series products may have polycondensation reaction with crosslinking agents (such as alcohol silane, aliphatic silane and acid silane) while tin catalysts may promote such reactions.

Application:

It has a shelf life of 12 months starting from its date of production when it’s stored in a cool and dry place while with its original package remains intact. Each batch of the Product has the valid service life clearly tag marked.  

The Product MUST be stored in a sealed status during the whole period of storage. If it’s not sealed as required or it’s been transferred to another container that is less airtight than its original package for storage purpose, it might deteriorate.   

Package:

It’s either packaged in drums (each in capacity of 200KG) or as designated by the customer.

Precautions:

The Product may react with water content in the air and thus release few methanol, therefore, the working space shall be kept under good ventilation. Take personal protection measures as instructed, and avoid the Product exposure to one’s eyes. If one’s eyes are exposed to the Product by accident, rinse the eyes with large amount of clean water immediately, and seek for medical help in hospital instantly.
