High Performance Silicone Adhesive C-801

Product Characteristics:

C-801 is a kind of high performance and room-temperature-cured silicone adhesive. It’s a kind of dealcoholized neutral adhesive of single component that has excellent electrical insulation property. It’s non-corrosive to metal base material, takes the form of non-flowing paste, and it’s easy and convenient for application. Once cured and formed into the organic silicone elastomer, it’s strongly adhesive to the majority of base materials. It works for a wide range of temperatures (-50℃~180℃) and it’s fully in compliance with RoHS environmental requirements.

Notes for application:

Surface Treatment:

Make sure the surface of base material is kept clean, dry and free from dust, oily stains or other substances that may adversely impact the adhesive property of the Product.

Primer Coat:

For the majority of the base materials, no primer is needed.

Product Characteristics:

C-801 has excellent adhesive property for the majority of base materials, its film curing process may start within 20 minutes. In addition, its curing progress is fast, e.g. 2mm deep in day 1 and 5mm deep in day 3. Since it’s deketoxime cured, it’s corrosive to copper base material. C801 is extremely aging-proof and weatherproof.

Package:

C-801 is packaged either in rigid plastic tube (each in capacity of 310ml), or as designated by the Customer.  

Storage and Shelf Life:

C-801 has a valid shelf life of 12 months when it’s unpacked and stored at temperature below 28℃. For any of the Product that has been stored for a period beyond the limit aforesaid, Cosil does not warrant its compliance with relevant sales terms and specification any longer. Try to fully consume the unpacked product as earlier as possible .
