Platinum Catalyst

Product Characteristics:

COSiL® CAT-Pt series product is a kind of highly active and efficient platinum catalyst, which may catalyize the addition reaction between Si-Vi and Si-H without bringing any side effects. Meanwhile, it’s also featured as a highly stable and strongly anti-poisoning catalyst, perfectly avoiding black matter from being generated while the product is put in storage or in process of application and reducing adverse impact brought by nitrogen and sulfur containing substances.

Application:

It can applied as catalyst in liquid form for addition-type silicone rubber, silicone gel, addition-type moulding compound, spotting compound for electronic parts, and silicone ink etc..

Or as catalysts for synthesis of polyoxysilicone oil and amino silicone oil,

Or applied for other hydrosilylation reaction.

Storage and Shelf Life:

It has a shelf life of 12 months starting from its date of production when it’s stored in a cool and dry place while with its original package remains intact. Each batch of the Product has the valid service life clearly tag marked.  

The Product MUST be stored in a sealed status during the whole period of storage. If it’s not sealed as required or it’s been transferred to another container that is less airtight than its original package for storage purpose, it might deteriorate.   

Package:

It’s either packaged in drums (each in capacity of 5KG or 10KG) or as designated by the customer.
